Results of the realization of investment program in 2008
The main investments in 2008 were directed at the renewal of the container fleet, purchase the machinery for transshipment place #4 at the Dostyk station and informatization of the production processes of the Company.
Within the bounds of the realization of the investment program the projects to the total amount of KZT 520.3 mln. were realized in 2008.
As per direction “Capital investments in new production projects” there were purchased 706 20-foot containers to the amount of KZT 185.6 mln.
As per direction “Capital investments in production projects for providing the current level of production” there was used totally KZT 303.4 mln including:
- purchase of machinery and production items – KZT 281.0mln
- informatization and developing networking – KZT 18,8 mln;
- developing DED and construction – KZT 3,6 mln.
As per direction “Capital administrative investments in nonmaterial sphere” within the bounds of administrative working condition improvement there was drawn KZT 31.2 mln.
The investment program financing in 2008 was implemented from own funds.
The preferred directions of the realization of investment program of the Company for 2009 and Programs of modernization and renewal of the fixed assets for the period of 2010-2020.
The investment program of the company for 2009 has been planed at about KZT 1 489.5 mln. (excluding VAT). The main investments as well as the previous years will be directed at the container fleet enlargement (to the amount of KZT 558.6 mln. including purchase of 500 and modernization of 500 specialized 20-foot containers); capital maintenance of 31 container platforms prolonging the expiration date (to the amount of KZT110.7 mln.), purchase the avtomotive equipment for the shipment of the containers (to the ammount of KZT 40.0 mln.)
