History
Under the order of RSE "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" # 611-Ц dated by 19.11.1999 subsidiary state enterprise "Kurort-Borovskoy Relsosvarochnyy Poyezd" was renamed into subsidiary state enterprise "Kaztransservice". SSE "Kaztransservice" was given the functions of the container park, local railways and weighing equipment operating.
In accordance with the order #3-пр dated by December, 10, 1999 there were opened branches of SSE "Kaztransservice": "Severnyy" branch located in Astana, "Zapadnyy" branch located in Actyubinsk, and "Yuzhnyy" branch in Almaty.
Under the order of RSE "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" #342-Ц dated by 27.06.01 there was accepted transfer of ownership of the wagon park in amount of 1 061 units, including container-cars - 491 units, fitting platform - 570 units. On May, 21 2002 in accordance with Government Decree # 479 dated by 27.04.2002 the SSE "Kaztransservice" was reorganized into open joint stock company "Kaztransservice". On April, 1 2004 in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "about joint-stock companies" the OJSC "Kaztransservice" was reorganized into JSC "Kaztransservice".
